What is Picture to Link?
Picture to Link is a free tool that converts an uploaded image into a shareable URL. There's no account, no login, and no cost.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every upload works anonymously — there are no accounts or paid tiers on this tool.
How do I get a link for a forum post?
Upload your image above, then choose Thumbnail for forums (BBCode) or Hotlink for forums (BBCode full) from the link type selector, and paste the generated code into your forum post.
How do I embed an image on my own website?
Choose Direct link for a plain URL to use in your own <img> tag, or Hotlink for websites (HTML full) for ready-to-paste HTML.
Which formats and upload methods are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, AVIF, and HEIC are all supported. You can also upload a ZIP or RAR archive and every image inside it will be converted individually. Drag-and-drop, browsing for a file, and pasting directly from your clipboard all work.
Is there a resize option?
Yes. Pick a target size from the resize menu before uploading, and your browser will scale the image down before it's sent — the original file on your device isn't changed.
What does the "auto-delete" option do?
It records your chosen expiry period in the uploaded file's name at the time of upload. If you need a file guaranteed to be removed by a certain date, keep a copy of the link and follow up directly.
Are my uploaded images private?
Images aren't listed in any public gallery or search, and links aren't easily guessable. That said, anyone who has the link can view the image, so avoid uploading anything sensitive.
Why did my upload fail?
This is usually a file size limit, an unusual format, or a temporary connection issue. Try a smaller file, a common format like JPG or PNG, or fewer files at once.
Do you support bulk uploads?
Yes. Select multiple files at once, or upload a single ZIP/RAR archive, and each image inside gets its own link.
