Report an image
Use this form to report an image on PictureToLink that infringes your copyright, shares someone’s private information or intimate images, is illegal, or breaks our Terms of Service. We review every report and act quickly on valid ones.
Child sexual abuse material
If an image shows the sexual abuse of a child, report it here and also to NCMEC’s CyberTipline or the Internet Watch Foundation. Do not download or share the image.
Copyright notices
To be valid, a copyright notice must include:
- the link to the image on PictureToLink;
- a description of the copyrighted work and, if possible, where the original is published;
- your name and email address, and whether you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
Ticking the declaration below and typing your full name counts as your signature. You can also email the same information to Admin@picturetolink.com.
What happens after you report
- Your report goes into our review queue, together with the image link you gave.
- We check the image against our Terms of Service and, for copyright, against the details in your notice.
- If the report is valid, we remove the image. Every link to it stops working, including direct links embedded on other sites.
- For clearly abusive images we also block the file, so the same image can’t simply be uploaded again.
- We may email you if we need more information.
Which reason should I choose?
- Copyright infringement: you own the picture, or act for the owner, and didn’t allow it to be shared here.
- Private information or intimate image: the image shows you or someone else, their home, documents or body without their agreement.
- Illegal content: anything unlawful, including child sexual abuse material (also report it to the hotlines above).
- Harassment, hate or violent content: images used to threaten, bully or attack people.
- Malware, phishing or scam: images used to trick people, such as fake login screens or payment requests.
- Something else: anything else that breaks our terms.
Before you report
If you uploaded the image yourself, you don’t need this form: open the private delete link you were given, or find it under “Recent uploads” on the home page in the same browser. Our uploads are also checked automatically for sexually explicit content, but automated checks miss things, so reports from people still matter. False or abusive reports may be ignored.
