Platforms & Forums

Size guides and how-tos for the places people actually post pictures: Discord, Reddit, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, eBay, Etsy, Google Docs and more. Each guide links to the platform’s own help page and shows the date we last checked it.

Platforms & Forums: quick guide

Every platform resizes and recompresses what you upload, and each has its own sizes, aspect ratios and file limits. Uploading at the size the platform recommends gives it less to change, which usually means sharper results.

Sizes change without much notice, so each guide here links to the platform’s own help page and shows when we last checked it. If what you see in the app differs, trust the app and tell us so we can update the guide.
